R&L Farms is located in northern Fannin County near the community of Elwood, Texas. We are committed to continuing our heritage of caring for and improving the land that has been in our family for nearly 70 years. The “Golden Rule” is the cornerstone on which we have built our business, to treat every person with honesty, respect and integrity just as our
grandfather and father did before us.
When we made our decision to migrate from
a commercial to a registered herd, Black Angus
was our carefully made choice. We strive to produce and sell animals that will be good seedstock which will make money for our customers. Our emphasis is not to chase trends but to develop cattle with balanced EPDs with special attention given to calving ease and maternal traits.  All of our yearlings are ultrasounded and our bulls are performance tested.
